크림히어로즈 입장문과 크집사 반박문을 통해본 대한민국 자본주의의 현주소(Cream Heroes Official Position & butler 'Sol Kim')

크집사 : 크림히어로즈와 나와의 관계는 그냥 MCN(기획사)와 크리에이터에 지나지 않는다.

크림히어로즈 : 집사님은 회사 크림히어로즈의 대표이사였다.

여기저기 널려있는 기사에는 온갖 추측성 글들이 산재해 있을 확률이 높기에 공식적인 입장문과 반박문 만으로 대한민국에 팽배한 자본주의의 현주소를 곱씹어본다. 이는 누구를 갑으로 누구를 을로 전재함도 아니며, 누구를 옹호하거나 비하, 비난할 생각은 추호도 없음을 서두에 밝혀둔다.

어제까지도 집사님과 채널 지속에 대한 이야기를 나누며 서로에게 좋은 방법을 모색해 오고 있었는데, 금일 갑작스러운 발표에 우선 당황감을 감출 수 없다. 집사님의 영상에 오해가 있을 것 같아 그 동안 크림히어로즈에서 있었던 일을 솔직하게 설명 드리고자 한다. 저희 집사님은 회사 크림히어로즈의 대표이사였고, 대표이사이자 집사로서 저희와 함께 수 년간 크림히어로즈 채널을 성장시켜 왔다. 사업 초기, 유튜브 사업모델을 논의하면서 집사님께서는 유튜브 채널 운영을 회사에서 지원하는 모습이 보여지는 것이 대외 이미지에 좋지 않을 것이라는 의견을 주셨고, 이에 따라 회사는 운영에 대한 전적인 권한을 집사님께 드리고 상당한 금액의 재정 지원만 해 드리고 있었다.

초기에 크림히어로즈(MCN)와 집사는 회사를 살리기 위한 공동의 목적을 갖고 함께 출발한 아름다운 사이였다. 크림들이 히어로즈가 되어 회사를 살려주기를... 크집사가 밝혔듯 그는 크림히어로즈라는 기획사에 소속된 집사에 불과했기에, 열심히 영상을 찍으면 회사는 필요한만큼의 경영 및 경제적 지원을 해왔다. 회사는 처음부터 공식적으로 영상에 회사의 공식 지원 채널임을 밝히자고 했으나, 유튜브의 생리를 잘 아는 집사는 채널에 악영향을 줄 수 있다며 개인 채널로 진행하기로 한다. 

이후 집사는 대표이사로 크림히어로즈를 운영하기도 한다. 그러나 2019년 본격적으로 수익이 늘기 시작하면서 수익 배분에 관한 문제를 제기하였고 퇴사를 결심했으나, 회사는 굿즈와 직접 광고를 제외한 운영비를 지급하기로 하고 채널권을 넘겨주는 등 계약을 연장하게 된다. 이후 채널권을 넘겨준 것은 잘못이라며 회사측은 채널권을 다시 가져온다. 2019년 중반부터는 유튜브 수익 배분으로 집사가 직접 편집자의 급여를 지급하게 된다.

2020년 대한민국의 자본주의를 살아가는 우리의 이해 관계는 그와 회사를 그리고 우리 구독자들을 더이상 함께하지 못하게 만들었다.

그냥 집사님과 회사와 직원분들이 욕심없이 살 정도만 벌었다면 지금 모두들 행복했을까? 생각해본다.

I don't know if the revenue from entering the company worked out well for employees, but the company will bring in all the revenue from the goods and the four advertising revenues it took in 2019. With seemingly irrational contracts and profit sharing, the butler decides to leave the company again. The company and the butler continued to reverse the decision and proceeded with several dialogues, but failed to achieve satisfactory results. In the end, the butler set up a company and set up his own channel.
